As at: July 2026 · Terms of use for the software “nunia”
1. Scope and contracting party
These GTC govern the use of the software “nunia” (hereinafter the “Application”), provided by fastview ag, Reiherweg 2, 5034 Suhr (hereinafter the “Provider”). By registering for or using the Application, the Customer accepts these GTC.
2. Description of services
nunia is a web-based software (SaaS) for fiduciary firms for managing engagements and deadlines and for preparing and documenting financial statements and the year-end closing (including data import, GM minutes and share register). The scope of functions follows from the current description on nunia.ch. The Provider develops the Application on an ongoing basis.
3. Registration and user account
Use requires a user account. The Customer keeps their access data secret and additionally protects their account through the mandatory two-factor sign-in. The Customer is responsible for all actions carried out via their account.
4. Obligations of the Customer
- lawful use of the Application within the scope of these GTC;
- no impairment of security or availability;
- responsibility for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content and engagement data entered.
5. Availability
The Provider strives for high availability but does not owe uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work, faults or circumstances beyond the Provider’s control may lead to interruptions.
6. Prices and payment
The licence comprises a Basic package and – at the Customer’s choice – add-on packages and a certain number of engagements. The applicable prices follow from the offer or the invoice. All prices are in Swiss francs plus statutory value added tax (currently 8.1 %).
Invoicing takes place annually in advance for the entire contract period (billing period = one year, see clause 7). Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date without deduction (payment on invoice with Swiss QR payment part). In the event of late payment, nunia is entitled to restrict access (read-only) or to block it.
Adjustment of the licence during the term: the Customer may adjust their licence at any time (additional engagements, additional packages). For such an increase, a supplementary invoice is issued corresponding to the price of the new configuration less the amounts already invoiced for the current contract period. The adjusted configuration ends together with the existing contract period (no proportional surcharge/discount, see clause 7); no pro-rata calculation takes place. A reduction (fewer engagements, removal of packages) is switched to the new configuration but does not lead to any refund of amounts already paid during the current period.
7. Contract term and termination
The contract and billing period is one year. The year is calculated from the initial conclusion (first licensing). All adjustments booked during the current period (additional packages or engagements) end on the same date as the original licence – if, for example, the basic contract is concluded on 1 January and add-on packages or engagements are booked later in the year, everything expires together on the following 31 December.
Unless terminated no later than 30 days before the end of the period, the contract renews for a further year on the terms then applicable. Termination must be in text form (e.g. e-mail). After termination, access is deactivated; the Customer may export their data before expiry. Amounts already paid are not refunded in the event of termination during the current period.
8. Customer data and data protection
The data entered by the Customer remains their property. The Provider processes it as a processor exclusively for the provision of the service. The privacy policy applies in addition. The Customer remains responsible for compliance with their own professional and data protection obligations.
9. Confidentiality
Both parties treat the other party’s confidential information as confidential and use it only for the performance of the contract.
10. Liability
The Provider is liable for damage only in the case of intent or gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law. Liability for slight negligence and for indirect and consequential damage (in particular loss of data, loss of profit) is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Professional responsibility for the closing and advice remains with the fiduciary firm.
11. Amendments to the GTC
The Provider may amend these GTC. Amendments are communicated to the Customer in an appropriate form; the current version published on nunia.ch is authoritative.
12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively, to the exclusion of conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is 5000 Aarau, unless mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction provide otherwise.
