Introduction
Welcome to nunia. In this video we show how you maintain a client’s master data and file documents with lasting effect in the permanent files.
Master data of the company
You open the master data in the sidebar under “Preparation”. At the top are company, legal form and industry; the company analysis needs the industry for the industry comparison. Then commercial register, registered address, and capital and shares. Share count and nominal value go to the share valuation for tax value per share. You upload the company logo here; optionally on the cover page of the financial statements.
Board of directors and management you enter with “Person” – with function and signing authority. The basis is the commercial register extract; if it is linked, you open it straight from the master data. Plus the significant shareholders and the contact persons at the client. The minutes take over the governing bodies with one click.
Financial statements and audit requirement
Further down you set up the financial statements for this client: financial year, CO or Swiss GAAP FER accounting and currency. The financial year’s balance sheet date also drives the deadline planning. The audit requirement table shows per year total assets, revenue, and full-time positions. From this nunia derives whether a limited statutory examination or ordinary audit is needed.
Permanent files
Documents with effect over several years belong in the permanent files. They are ordered by category – from company and law, through contracts, to pensions and staff. The overview shows, per category, how many documents are filed. You create categories yourself, rename them or delete them; the structure covers all engagements. You find the same categories in the sidebar under “Permanent files”. Simply drag a document into the category – as PDF, Excel or image. It stays with the client across all financial years. For each document you record a note and assign it to a different category if needed. On creating the PDF, nunia files the financial statements in the filing area.
